STICHWORT Archives

STICHWORT collects things that otherwise would be lost: international and especially Austrian-specific documents related to the autonomous Second Wave women’s movement and lesbian movement – with the goal of an authentic presentation of their history, their concerns and topics and thus contributes to the telling of modern women’s history.

The STICHWORT archives contain several collections: from primary sources on women’s and lesbian groups in Austria to Austrian and international periodicals to posters, photos and audio and visual material.
